Description

Launched in 2014, it is one of the largest wooden motor yachts ever built, with waterjet propulsion.
The boat is powered by three MTU 12 V2000 M94 Diesel engines, delivering 1432 kW each, coupled with three KAMEWA 56A3 waterjets by means of a ZF reducer and double elastic coupling. The hull shapes, specially designed for the particular propulsive configuration, have been tested in a naval tank. The optimization of the lines will allow the new 38 meters to reach a cruising speed of 28 knots and a maximum speed of 31 knots.
Wide range is guaranteed by 18.000 liter fuel tanks and over 2.500 liters of fresh water. Interiors and exteriors were developed by Andrea Borzelli and Sara Berta, together with Giovanni Castagnola.
