Description
Moonflower is one of the latest and most intriguing projects signed by Nauta. «Innovative design, many open spaces, direct contact with water and flexible layout and furnishings. These were the must haves that the owner gave us », explained Mario Pedol, co-founder of Nauta Design.
A real innovation is the system, patent pending, for gangway and folding walls, which allows to transform the aft deck into a platform at sea level with 117 square meters and a spectacular 270 ° view.
The propulsion is Diesel-electric. This allows to reduce noise and vibrations together with the greater flexibility and redundancy of the generators. Two electric motors (1500kW @ 1800rpm) are mounted on the shaft lines which can be powered by a combination of 5 Diesel generators (3 x1000 kWe and 2 x 500 kWe), providing a maximum speed of 16 knots and a range at economic speed above 6.000nm.
