The Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW) was founded in 1981 by Renzo Piano, with offices in Genoa and Paris. The studio has since expanded and is now also present in New York. RPBW is led by 10 partners, including the founder and Pritzker prize architect Renzo Piano. It permanently employs around 130 coordinated architects to a support staff of 30 professionals, including: 3D visualization artists, model makers, archivists, administrative and secretarial staff.
